A two maker studio in Tempe, Arizona

We cut the stone and handcraft the silver that holds it.

Source D'Amour is two people. Jeremy runs the saw and the wheel, turning rough into slabs and cabochons. Les facets stones, sets them, and does the metalwork. Veteran owned. Every piece is one of one.

From the ground to the finished pieceWe haul the rough, cut it, and set it ourselves.

Provenance matters

We research the history of every stone.

Much of our material comes from old collections, so we trace what we can: the mine, the era it was likely sourced, how it came to us. Ask about any piece and we will tell you what we know.

A moss agate, cut and polished, still on its brass dop stick on the bench: green dendrites in white chalcedony with a rind of matrix along one edge.

The workshop

We cut the stone ourselves.

A rock only becomes a stone when someone decides what it will be. We make that decision ourselves, at the saw, with the material in hand. Nothing here was picked from a catalogue of stones that somebody else already cut.

How it works

Buy it outright, or have it made.

It is on the site

Every piece here is the only one of itself. If it is priced, it is available: buy it and it ships insured, or collect it from us at a show.

It is not, yet

Tell us the stone, the setting, the person it is for. We cut and build from our own material, and we will tell you honestly what is possible.
